As one of the leading manufacturers of high performance door closers and floor springs in Europe, Jebron has an unrivalled reputation for design innovation and engineering excellence.

Founded in 1926 under the name of J & E Brown, the company manufactured quality fittings for motor cars including the legendary range of winged radiator cap mascots. During the war years the company's skills were devoted to the production of precision parts for tanks and heavy artillery. Various engineering products led up to the design and development of a new type of engine for Norton motor cycles and an example takes pride of place in the company boardroom to this day.

The first door closer was produced in 1951 since then Jebron have grown to become the internationally acknowledged force they are today.

JEBRON PLATING LIMITED

Established initially as an in-house facility to assist in door closer production, Jebron Plating Limited has grown to become the largest specialist aluminium plating company in the country.

The success of the plant led to it becoming a separate operating company in 1989. Besides providing Jebron with its unique electro plating processes, Jebron Plating undertakes contracts for a wide range of manufacturers from the window, door, brewery, domestic appliance and electrical industries.
